Example of HAK in use

The HAK is able to handle all soil environments including being encased in cement or adverse environments such as cattle yards. The hydrant you are using will also last longer because it is no longer in direct contact with the soil. A HAK can be attached to any size or type of waterline.

The HAK has a 1" inlet hole on every model; it can supply 30 gpm even with a 3/4" outlet hole. The stainless steel staple secures the waterline and coupler and will not rust. The HAK's drainback hole is more than 15 times bigger than that of any manufactured hydrant, ensuring good draining. With a HAK, the hydrant's drainback hole is encased in a 3" riser pipe that allows you to put your hydrant in all soil types.

The HAK has drainback capabilities, so if it freezes, it is alright to pour hot water down inside the encasement. Also if the drainback hole is ever plugged, you can simply remove the hydrant and blow high pressure water through the HAK drainback hole to unplug it. In very cold conditions, super insulated pipe can be used for extra protection along with heat tape.

All HAK's are compatible with Frost Tek or Easy Heat heat tape systems. Also, you can crossover your heat tape without worrying about damaging it. The regular HAK will work with schedule 40, 80, copper, steel, super insulated, and black pipes. The Economy HAK will work with schedule 40, steel, and super insulated riser pipes. All HAKs are packaged in boxes that are clearly labeled with a description and we can put a bar code on upon request for managing inventory electronically.
